Next.js supports multiple rendering strategies within the same framework:

Unlike a purely client-side React SPA, Next.js enables page pre-rendering through Server-Side Rendering (SSR) or Static Site Generation (SSG). HTML is therefore generated on the server or during the build process and delivered directly to the browser.

This makes indexing easier for search engine crawlers by providing immediately accessible content, while enabling advanced and dynamic management of metadata (title, meta description, Open Graph), structured file-based routing, and simplified integration of sitemaps, robots.txt files, and structured data.

Pre-rendering improves page discoverability and technical performance (especially Core Web Vitals), two factors that indirectly influence SEO. It therefore helps improve visibility for competitive search queries, particularly within headless or content-driven architectures.
